Tim Chapman, Democratic candidate for Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, has launched an expansive digital ad buy promoting his bold, progressive vision for Fairfax County.

“Fairfax County is losing highly qualified teachers to Arlington County because it offers better pay and more affordable housing,” Chapman said. “Over a 30 year teaching career, a teacher in Arlington will make $293,000 more in salary than a teacher working in Fairfax County. Fairfax County needs to invest in its teachers. Raising teacher pay, combined with freezing property taxes for teachers and other civil servants, will make Fairfax County a more accessible place to live and help our county retain its teachers and other county employees. We need to implement common sense, progressive reforms that will make Fairfax County a better place to live for all, and this ad buy will showcase my plans to make it happen. I’m ready to put in the hard work for the county I proudly call home,” he continued.
